A Path for Every Learner
Wild Things is a classroom-based program that provides high-quality, personalized education. Mornings are dedicated to core subjects — ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science — taught in small groups with individualized support to ensure true understanding and progress. In the afternoon, students engage in enrichment through outdoor exploration, projects, and experiential activities on our campus.

Students engage in 2–3 hours of intentional, focused academics each day, supported through small group instruction and 1:1 guidance. These study blocks support a personalized approach that ensures students achieve true mastery of concepts before moving on, building both confidence and a strong academic foundation.

At Wild Things, core academics and the natural world work hand in hand. We weave nature directly into our daily curriculum—taking math, science, and literacy outdoors into our campus trails, pond, and gardens, while anchoring morning study blocks with proven, research-backed independent resources.

Environmental Studies
At Wild Things, nature is more than a setting — it's a living classroom. Students explore the river, pond, trails, and garden while identifying native plants and animals and learning about ecosystems, biodiversity, and conservation. This daily connection to the outdoors nurtures curiosity, creativity, physical well-being, and a lifelong respect for the natural world.

Financial Literacy
Our Learn to Earn program builds financial literacy and real-world entrepreneurial skills as students create, manage, and earn through hands-on experiences — developing confidence, leadership, and a strong understanding of money, work, and value.

Spanish
Our Spanish program immerses students in language through cooking classes, art projects, games, and real-world conversation, making learning fun and meaningful.

Students explore technology and AI through hands-on projects, learning how to use these tools creatively, responsibly, and with purpose.
Your Options
Homeschool vs. Charter School
Choosing a path outside the traditional model can feel bold, but it's a meaningful step toward a more personalized, intentional education. Our goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning experience where every child can thrive.
Option One
Homeschool
When you homeschool, you file a Private School Affidavit (PSA), meaning you take full responsibility for your child's education. This gives families the freedom to learn at their own pace without the structure of traditional deadlines, testing, and reporting.
Option Two
Charter School
A charter school is a public school that families choose to enroll in. Instead of attending a full-time classroom, students complete their education through a combination of at-home learning and programs like Wild Things. Charter schools provide funding for curriculum, classes, and educational support, while still holding students accountable to state standards.
